This was a street painting/tactical urbanism project in collaboration with the ‘Yo Compro En Las Fuentes’ cooperative to gain visibility for local businesses in the neighbourhood of Las Fuentes.
15 corners were painted using laser-cut stencils, creating geometric designs showing the different directions of the businesses. There were 6 categories proposed; Food, fashion, beauty, services, restaurants, art and stationary.
At the beginning, the workshop was focused on getting to know the shop owners and gaining a closer relationship with them despite the language barrier, feeling a sense of togetherness while highlighting the atmosphere and environment of Las Fuentes.
After this exhaustive research, the painting was done on the pavement, creating a new image on each street.
