Hannah McCarthy (b.1999) is an Irish interior architectural designer based in London. Graduating with a BSc Honours Degree in Interior Architecture from Munster Technological University in the autumn of 2023, her final year project won under the Interior Design/Interior Architecture - Commercial/Residential category at the IDI Graduate Awards 2023. She has since worked as a Sales Executive, Visual Merchandiser and Assistant Interior Stylist at EZ Living Interiors, until her relocation to London, where she is pursuing her career as an Interior Architect.

 

In her practice, Hannah is competent in traditional and digital techniques to create spatial designs. Interested in pursuing a career in interior and ephemeral architecture, she is eager to learn more from the industry.

 

She has been employed as an Interior Design Intern in London for Galliard Homes and has participated in a tactical urbanism project at MEDs Zaragoza: Cierzo, an interdisciplinary workshop for designers. She joined MEDS Rijeka: City of Textures as an organisational helper, assisting in coordinating 12 projects over two weeks with the organising team.
